Keating Wagner Attorneys Recognized in 2026 Colorado Super Lawyers Selections

Keating Wagner is proud to share that several of our attorneys have been named to the 2026 Colorado Super Lawyers lists, a peer-influenced and research-driven distinction that recognizes a small percentage of attorneys across the state each year.

For 2026, the firm’s honorees include:

  • Deirdre E. Ostrowski (selected in 2026), with the additional distinction of being named to the Top 50 Women Colorado list, and recognized for a 5-year Super Lawyers milestone.

  • Larry Free (selected in 2026), also recognized on the Top 100 Colorado list and for a 10-year Super Lawyers milestone.

  • Michael Keating (selected in 2026), also recognized on the Top 100 Colorado list and for a 10-year Super Lawyers milestone.

  • Zachary Warzel (selected in 2026), also recognized on the Top 100 Colorado list and for a 10-year Super Lawyers milestone.

  • Melissa J. Sullivan (selected in 2026).

(As Super Lawyers notes in its usage guidance, the accurate way to describe the recognition is that an attorney has been “named to the 2026 Colorado Super Lawyers list,” rather than using the term as a job title.)

How Super Lawyers selections are chosen

Super Lawyers describes its methodology as a patented, multi-phase selection process that combines peer input with independent evaluation.

In general, the process includes:

  1. Peer nominations, where attorneys identify candidates they have observed in practice.

  2. Independent research, in which candidates are evaluated across multiple indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.

  3. Peer evaluation by practice area (often called a “blue ribbon” review), adding additional professional feedback to the scoring process.

  4. Final selection, which results in an annual list that represents the top 5% of attorneys in the state.

What “Top 50 Women” and “Top 100” mean in Colorado Super Lawyers

Super Lawyers “Top Lists” are an added layer of distinction. According to Super Lawyers, Top Lists feature attorneys who are already selected to Super Lawyers and who earned the highest point totals in the scoring process.

Keating Wagner congratulates our attorneys on these 2026 recognitions and thanks our clients, colleagues, and community for the trust that makes our work possible.
