I-70 Case Asks Court to Halt Expansion

I-70 Case Asks Court to Halt Expansion

At the end of the last month, one of Keating Wagner Polidori Free’s clients pushed to stop the expansion of Interstate 70 through Denver. Attorneys Melissa Hailey and Aaron Goldhamer filed a motion in federal court asking a judge to stop a nearly $2 billion project by the Department of Transportation that would expand I-70 through a number of neighborhoods that border the interstate. While there are a number of lawsuits challenging the project, Kyle Zepplin’s case with Keating Wagner is unique in that it challenges that state and federal officials should have taken into account the environmental and stormwater impacts that state officials completed related to a Denver stormwater overhaul plan.
