Denver Car Accident and Accident Injury Attorneys

Representing Families and Victims in Serious Personal Injury Cases

As a Colorado personal injury attorney with Keating Wagner Polidori Free, I provide experienced advocacy for my clients and their families at a time when they are not only suffering through a personal injury but navigating an unfamiliar process as well.  The claims process after a car accident or injury can be overwhelming, especially when a client’s focus should be on recovery. Clients may not know or understand all of their rights. Many clients who have been in a car accident at work, for example, do not know that they have a personal injury claim against the at-fault driver and a workers’ compensation claim.  For so many reasons, you may want a lawyer such as myself to advocate for you after you have been injured by someone else.

I have seen how frustrating it can be for people who have been injured to deal with an insurance company that does not have their best interests at heart.  When clients are hurt and are incurring medical bills at the same time they cannot work and are losing wages, it is not uncommon for them to feel cheated and to feel like no one is on their side.  My passion is being an advocate for clients in this position, working with them throughout the claims process and litigation when necessary, and making sure they understand the process from start to finish.

Key Experience in Catastrophic Injury Lawsuits

I began my law career with a focus on estate planning and probate administration, but I knew I had a passion for helping injured people navigate their insurance claims and get the compensation they deserve. At Keating Wagner Polidori Free, my practice focuses on representing individuals who have been seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents and other personal injury matters.

Clients who have been injured in severe motor vehicle accidents have multiple potential sources of recovery in connection with their personal injury claim, including the at-fault driver’s liability insurance and, if applicable, uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage under their own automobile or other motor vehicle insurance policy(ies). Clients who were involved in a crash on the job also have a workers’ compensation claim in addition to a personal injury claim. However, unlike the personal injury system, the workers’ compensation system is not designed to make injured employees “whole” – to place them in the same position they would have been in had the injury not occurred. Pursuing a personal injury claim as well as a workers’ compensation claim can be a way for an employee who was injured at work by a third party to collect more complete compensation for the injury.

People who have been injured need to know more than just where their recovery may come from. You need to know your rights and your responsibilities as a personal injury claimant. Personal injury claims, like all legal claims in Colorado, are governed by strict time limits known as statutes of limitations. If you do not comply with the applicable statute of limitations, you can lose all of your rights in connection with your claim, including the right to fair compensation. So, it is important to speak with a Colorado personal injury attorney such as myself as soon as possible to protect your rights and to hold those who caused your harms, losses, and financial damages accountable.
